there's been so much layoffs in the largest , most profitable entertainment industry and so much of their work is treated as a disposable commodity rather than art. We owe it to game developers of the world to preserve their works to stand the test of time, and to entertain for many years to come!

What an exhausting week at work. Long weekend is almost here and I am definitely ready for it. A few loose ends to tie up in Elden Ring, maybe find a new speedrun, go out for a quick birthday beer, and lots of wrestling around with the dogs.

After 3 days of Elden Ring I already want to call in sick for work lol. I'm just scratching the surface and I can't wait to keep playing. After playing a few hours lastnight I couldn't sleep, I could only think of the places I'd been and where I want to see next.

At the very least it might draw attention to the GDQ run and bring in more eyes to PB and yourself? Maybe some fun opportunities can arise from that.

It has always baffled me how people who don't understand speedrunning, or someone younger, will say something along the lines of "oh well no wonder you beat that time, because the game is so old!" with absolute certainty.
