They are so cool, definitely a short list artist for friend gifts! Only reason I haven’t yet is because there are 11 cats in the friend group who I’d want to give mugs to, and I’d feel bad claiming all of the customs in one go. But I also can’t exclude anybody 😅

Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.

These handle attachments are so cool! I love when you can see the marks of the hand on handmade pieces.

Thank you! I started wheel throwing almost a year ago, and it’s been very fun to get to a place where I feel like I’m able to focus on finding a personal style as much as skill building.

Just tried to make a Reel to capture the process for the fern mug I just posted and the editor fully won’t load the videos I added 🙃 so I guess I just won’t do that.

Really like how versatile this carving technique has been for me - I’m constantly finding new ways to riff on these ferns. #pottery #ceramics #wheelthrown #carvedmug #ferns
