Erm... yes. Some of my eyebrow hairs clearly just feel they have the ambition and capability to be head hairs instead and are aiming to get there.

17.10.2025 23:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It has reached the point my wife clearly feels I should start taking steps to control my eyebrows and has even occasionally commented if my nostril/ear hairs are getting a bit over excited.
I feel oppressed by appearance focused societal norms.
Yep. I was going to include something about not bowing to the tyranny of the patriarchal expectation woman should minimise hair everywhere except their head, but I'm probably straying out of my lane if I start mansplaining feminism to a woman who can make her own damn decisions about her appearance.

17.10.2025 22:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I confess this is not something I have any experience of, but can't you just not shave at all and simply wear dark tights?
17.10.2025 22:26 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0With the plot running that one of the mums is then introduced into her friendship group down the pub and much hilarity ensues as she tries to get drunk while pretending she isn't drinking and has to hide the fact she smokes.

Still, it's a shame its journalistic standards have gone to shit and it's turned into the printed word equivalent of a angry old man shaking his fist at clouds.
Telegraph is losing a fortune, isn't it?
17.10.2025 12:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Are any newspapers making millions?
17.10.2025 12:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There is absolutely no reason whatsoever you cannot tell your teenage son that. If anything it's a pretty sobering lesson for him.
17.10.2025 12:28 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In an interview with Bloomberg, Farage has said that Nathan Gill was "one bad apple" - unintentionally being accurate because he forgot the rest of the proverb.

It was only after a fairly important conversation with youngest child's teacher and the work meeting later that I realised I have hot sauce stains all over the front of my jumper, so that's great.
Things don't have to be in fashion for you to wear them. Maybe you're just ahead of the curve.
16.10.2025 14:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So you're saying they need to sack Robbie Gibb?
16.10.2025 14:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have no desire to read this article. The headline is enough.

Would have been cheaper to just pay for the repairs.
I was once with a colleague who was trying to go all the way back to 1959 by clicking back one month each time.
That app did have the option to type the year and it blew her mind when I showed her.
In which case....

The first sentence is redundant here, if you want to add mayo to a roast dinner then you crack on, but..... 100g?
It's a condiment, like mint sauce or mustard, not a bloody gravy.
An hour on hold would seem much more tolerable if every few minutes you found yourself excited about being reminded of some classic tune you haven't heard for years.
14.10.2025 13:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If companies know their hold times are ages and they don't want to just hire more staff the very least they could do is make their hold music an eclectic playlist of absolute bangers rather than just repeating the same short section eternally which just reinforces how long you've been waiting.
14.10.2025 13:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Still remember all my closest school friend's phone numbers.
None of them live there anymore. Many of their parents don't either.
The human brain is so weird.
Fast forward to Christmas 2045 when his wife/husband catches you both and a very difficult conversation ensues.
13.10.2025 20:24 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, I remember studying possibles of public funding in Alevel politics and I can't think of a way around it. Equal funding/candidate means niche minimal support Ronnie purple Hippo (or count bin head? Or raging Fascist?) gets the same public funding as widely popular, but under represented Greens?
13.10.2025 20:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0IMO people should be free donate to a party they wish to succeed, however donations should be strictly limited to Β£X/per person & donors should always be on the electoral role.
I can't see the public tolerating grants from tax payer cash to political parties & that has its own challenges anyway.
Here you go. Once you've figured out what your preferred temperature is you can set this to alarm when it reaches that point.
www.castleshop.co.uk/atp-pen-type...
I know the temperature you're talking about, though I imagine the exact Β°C varies according to preference.
I expect there are thermometers where you can set an alarm. There's definitely meat thermometers that connect to an App that likely have that function.
I have no idea what the old film is that I've just turned on half way through is, but the line "We've detested each other cordially since the day we met" is a great line.
13.10.2025 17:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is a long time since I last drove the A68 between Jedburgh and Corbridge, but I did this afternoon and I would just like to say WEEEEEEEE!
13.10.2025 15:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If anything in my experience it takes longer, but that's mainly cos I'm so shit I never get to ride it far before I have to stop and get off again.
Can imagine it saving time for someone who can reliably hit a ball 250yds+, though.
