Great turnout at the annual Local 2789 Carver County picnic last week! Union events like these remind us that solidarity doesn’t stop at the workplace. It was a great chance to connect, recharge, and celebrate the strength we build together as union members.

Anti-union efforts to roll back pro-worker laws failed. People across Minnesota made their voices heard. The pressure worked and the protections stayed.

HF4 would limit the legislature’s ability to make real-time decisions and responsibly plan for Minnesota’s financial future, and would make funding to critical local government services and programs perilous.

Instead of listening to working families, the House has moved forward on a budget plan that will cause millions to lose their health care, increase food insecurity for families, & jeopardize Medicare & Social Security in the long term.
