Going back to school is usually a psychological cry for help from me. That's why I was in college for 25 years and am now back... Going ok. Lots of bs busy work and bureaucracy. 😭😕😭😕😭😕

3 classes, 9 credits, 3 As.

3 weeks on crutches, 1 foot procedure, too long of not running.

Haven't actually written anything yet (start back to school tomorrow and work Wednesday) but did actually think about writing while I was on vacay this week!

I've held a 4.0 since 2008 when I randomly decided to go back to school three random returns to school ago. Have no intention of giving it up now!

So I've got less than 2 weeks of this semester left (life advice: don't go back to school at 49, it's even more exhausting than you remember) and I had an idea to marry two fic ideas. One being the last one I was working on before school started in August.

Lol first day back to work. Getting thru the hospital to my desk almost took me out!

6 more days without being able to put my foot on the ground. The rest of me is getting a hell of a workout!

I did well, considering I have torn the plantar fascia. Had a procedure today to excise the dead tissue and hopefully get it to heal!

I'm having a tenotomy done after the race. They use a needle and ultrasound to clean out the torn tissue and (hopefully) get it to start healing.

Tore my plantar fascia. Partially. So I have to have a procedure done eventually but I have a marathon to run first.

There are only Stargate fans and people who've never seen Stargate.

I'm in foot jail because I don't follow instructions

Can we all just decide that companies need to stop declaring that a package has "shipped" when all they've done is print a label but the package has in fact NOT left the building???

This is precisely why I've mostly abandoned social media

Staying in south Georgia tonight & heading the rest of the way to Tierra Verde tomorrow. Drive wasn't too bad considering how late we left. Actually found a vegan cafe in south Carolina. it was delicious! Got 4.5 miles in on the treadmill.

And actually wrote a bit of my WIP. Just a lil bit but 🥰

Late start getting out today which we'll pay for later but we're on vacation!!!

Lost my wallet somewhere in the last week. None of my cards have been accessed, but I cannot find it anywhere. On a train to Delaware to get a new license because I'm going on vacay on Fri and I need one to rent the truck!

Really hoping the new pix help spur me back to writing! Been trying. Just have a lot going on.

Pretty sure the last one I posted was a bit of a doozy! Galileo is hard on the heart. Honestly don't remember the last one before that. Been trying to get back to the one I've got half written.

Trying to increase my mileage in my marathon build without making my existing workouts longer. So I ran to work this morning. Not all ADHD insomniac ideas should be followed. I mean I lived but I've been half asleep all day. Might be from not sleeping tho

Jury duty tomorrow in a city I haven't actually lived in for a decade, just never changed my license.

Going in character with my marine Corps marathon tee and red white and blue barrettes in a desperate attempt to convey utter partiality that I don't feel so I will get excused. 🤞 for me!

Survived training day #2. I guess it's a good thing that October is a long way off because I'm not ready.

I've discovered the plastic covers from blank CD spindles make excellent big catchers. You can see thru them and they're big enough to have some wiggle room if your aim is off!
