Having just dealt with someone with dementia/ Alzheimer's for the past 5 years, I feel for that contractor and understand how frustrating it can be to deal with dementia patients. This is meant to be only a little funny.

Finished my first half marathon today! I ran the Seattle half, my first race in quite a while. I missed my goal by two minutes (goal was under 2hr) but feel fine with that since it was kind of a hilly course. Congrats to all finishers!

I decided to make the jump to Lennox and holy f*** this is exactly what I wanted. Customization allowed to do anything that I want and a beautiful tight interface. All the commands in the terminal are what I expect them to be and the flow is amazing. I'm not going back to Windows.

Fast forward even a few more years. I just built a brand new PC from scratch so I can get back into PC gaming as well as have a rig for software and decided to install Windows 11 on it. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the experience,the terminal, the ads, the AI. Not how I want software to behave.

Fast forward a few years I didn't have a computer for a while and decided to get a MacBook Air for basic word processing and web surfing. I eventually got into software and fell in love with Mac OS and the Unix terminal.

A little history of me:
I learned how to use a computer using MS-DOS when Windows 3.1 and eventually Windows 95 came out. I used Windows up until about 2005. Gaming on my computer was always important to me and in some way has led me to be the person I am today.

It's a few days late (April 7th 2005) but happy belated 20th birthday Git! I hope one day I can build something so widely useful in just ten days. Copium.

Just got the last parts to my new PC that I built and went to power out on aaaaàaaand the PSU isn't powering on. Anyone have an extra PSU that I can borrow to get this thing to post?

I don't know exactly how to pull that off but Centered exists.

I'm not trying to be offensive but self discipline is also helpful. I struggle with this with my own ADHD.

Took two weeks off of running for work and the busy holidays. Set my PR for my 10k! Feeling pretty good about this!
