Twisted Metal was definitely a game we looked at for inspiration and as competition. I worked for Pacific Coast Power and Light, a THQ studio. At the time Jakks had licensing rights to WWE video games and Jakks contracted with THQ. Car combat with wrestlers. What’s not to like?
