‘Felt like a bit of abuse of power’: Canadian denied entry into U.S. A 20-year-old Canadian booked to fly south to visit her grandparents was recently refused entry into the United States by American customs officers, at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

A 20 year old Canadian was trying to visit her grandparents in Florida and was denied entry because customs officers thought she was trying to illegally immigrate.

Trust me, no Canadians want to sneak into the US.

This is another reminder that we should be boycotting US travel.

It’s not safe

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

As I just said on msnbc: this deal is the end of chuck Schumer. It doesn’t matter he is voting no. He’s not the leader we need at this time.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
