Imagine being born between 1880-1920 in the Balkans, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, or the Caucasus. Your life would’ve been a whirlwind: wars, revolutions, new borders, migrations, empires crumbling, nations rising. Crazy to think about how they navigated all that.
