Let’s retire the idea that only “coders” can create software. Share your prompts, patterns, and guardrails. If we combine domain expertise with AI leverage, we’ll ship better tools, faster, and broaden who gets to build.

Frontier agents can one-shot simple apps. Complex products still demand structure, testing, and security awareness. But the bar to start is dramatically lower, and the feedback cycle is faster.

Dialogue: Communicate with AI precisely; inputs, interfaces, and test cases.
Delivery Loop: Ship in small phases, review, and refine.

Vibe coding isn’t about skipping fundamentals forever. It’s about prioritizing outcomes when time and resources are scarce. The leverage comes from three skills:

Destination: Define the result, constraints, and acceptance criteria.

That pattern shows up everywhere. We over-index on how to make the map and under-invest in using the map to get somewhere. In software, the parallel is vibe coding: using AI to move from intention → working software without first mastering every layer of the stack.

Destination Over Map-Making: Why Vibe Coding Matters

In architecture school, my Topography class missed the point. Instead of showing us how terrain data could transform design, it trained us to become topographers. We learned production, not leverage.

Using Claude Code for the first time since August. Excited to explore what innovative features have been introduced. Which advanced functionalities should I prioritize to enhance productivity and creativity in my projects? Any standout enhancements worth noting?

AI development is to software engineering what industrial farming is to agriculture. Craft dev (“bio/organic”) is cute, but does it feed everyone? Does it scale?

I’ll take yield + consistency first, then optimize for terroir. 👨‍🌾

Creating with AI isn't as effortless as it's hyped up to be. Vibe coding works wonders when mastered, but it's not for everyone.
It's not about the process or the tools. It's all about your talent and experience for getting code into production.

I kicked it up a notch, refining the design to reflect my unique style and flair. I'm constantly adding fresh ideas, especially for the workout player.

Interested in testing it out? I’ll send you the GitHub link once I wrap up the initial phase.

I challenged ChatGPT to craft a personalized weekly workout plan tailored to my home gear, and it delivered a sleek, detailed PDF. Next, I tasked it with developing a simple web app to track my progress and offer a fully customizable workout player.

Do you agree that building software have nothing to do with knowing how to program?

Dev here. I’m building something on my own. I’m always wondering if I need a co-founder, and in what speciality, and what position will I meed to cover with my first hiring if what I’m building gets any traction. Is there a system to analyze this?

Lego expo adventure with the kids in Lisbon yesterday. This pixelated lion got me thinking: Building AI without a solid system is like constructing a zoo where each animal is made of mismatched bricks. Impressive, but potentially unpredictable! Which system do you have in place?

Thanks for the valuable insights. It is indeed important to build solid, real connections, in this crazy world where it seems only the loudest wins. The unique stories perspective is indeed fundamental to get out of the crowd and showcase your unique position and views.

This is how I've been building
@kodebase.ai for over a 1 month now. All the code was AI generated, but carefully following my curated rules and processes. I'm so impressed with what I've been able to build with my team - me, Claude, Gemini and o3.

I've moved to a context engineering process based development, where instead of hard rules, you provide the agent a set of guides that allow them the flexibility to proceed, but following your processes and flows.

Leveraging linters/tools to create constrains, is the way to go, since it's impossible to guarantee 100% execution otherwise.

While building @kodebase.ai I noticed how it's easy to try and create static process, hard for LLMs to follow and execute with success.

@holdenmatt.bsky.social have a very good post about how he's working with multi agents setup. I've been doing this for months now. All model/software specific entry points (CLAUDE md, cursor rules, etc..) currently only point to my generic files.

🌍 Worldviews have never been more divided, especially when it comes to AI.

Some say it’s just another tech bubble, destined to pop. Others believe it’s the biggest societal shift in history.

Where do YOU stand? 💬

The hardest part about building a product, for me, is clearly marketing. I don’t have wide communication channels. I don’t have a big budget for promotional spots. My audience is small to nonexistent. What are my best options?

Exactly. Youtube is the last premium product I’ll cancel. I don’t use the algo, since I rely mostly on subscriptions, so I see mostly what I care about. For that, it is awesome

Using @kodebase.ai to build Kodebase and another project at the same time. With the last context engineering overall, it's been a while since I hit usage limits with Claude Code.
