A pro-affordability, anti-Trump-corruption message unites the party. Every candidate can run on that, and every candidate can have their own take to fit that to their constituents. There's really no need to find fights to pick when the party agrees on more than it disagrees

Ok this is frustrating to me. Why do we keep blaming the voters here. We should be able to trust the news and the govt. how about we start working on making laws that regulate media and govt so we know they canβt fucking lie and can be trusted sources?

I think more Americans should watch these kinds of clips and realize this is all the GOP wants to do. Instead of actually help people, they invent problems and scream at public servants and citizens about and pretend thatβs a normal way to govern a country

question: I feel like the relationship of the audience to movies has changed in the past ten or 15 years. They expect the movie to come to them.
answer: Absolutely. Theyβd rather go home and turn on their TV and see a film that way. And letβs face it, a certain kind of corruption comes in because people go home and they shop around on these streaming platforms. Thereβs some good things about the platforms. They create a lot of movies. They create a lot of jobs. But thereβs so many distractions that you canβt enter the stuff. People watch five minutes of something and they say, βIβm not really into itβ and they go to another thing. βIβm not really into it.β Then another thing. βIβm not really into it.β Then they go to bed.
If you donβt put in the effort, youβre not going to receive much. And the discourse gets lowered, and everything gets a little more dumbed down and then thatβs when the ruffians come in, and theyβre the ones with energy and stupidity and then they can crush all the thoughtful people. Thatβs not good for culture, and thatβs not good for humanity. We see the results of that all the time.

Iβd argue this includes arguments that claim Democrats did poorly in election because βwe focused too much on identity politics.β Republicans arenβt the only ones who dog whistle.
Further, Dems generally did NOTHING to defend trans people from the onslaught of rhetoric and ads from Republicans.
