Use the trees for possible leads as you do with Ancestry trees. I’ve gotten some great leads that have proven very useful.
The further back you go the more problematic they become.
I highly doubt that my husband is descended from a Viking king or I’m descended from the Boleyn family.

Relatives are based on FamilySearch trees which are user inputted. Errors do occur. Also, some trees are deeper and more researched. Your connection might be closer on a different family line but FamilySearch might have not that information.

I’m going to try and cast from my phone to the TV. 🤞

I’m American and I’m watching CBC to get news from outside the USA. Most of our news media are afraid of Trump, especially after what he did to the Associated Press.

My boyfriend’s first job after college was with EDS (Lansing) in the late 80s. I remember he had to sign a morality clause and have a strict dress code.

At this point, I’m wondering how many companies are making exit plans to leave the US

I have lots of Google pins. I’m looking for an alternative when I try to visualize locations. I don’t think I need it to integrate with anything. Though, I did see that Gramps & TNG had OSM modules.

Are there any genealogists using OpenStreetMap? Is it a good alternative for mapping historical rural United States locations?

I use LibreOffice because I’m cheap.
I have only use gmail for my junk email
Google had the tendency of introducing an program and then discontinuing. So I never felt comfortable using Google Drive/Google Docs

I’m in my 60s and get “real men” hunting jackets. I don’t search anything remotely like that.

For driving, we still use paper maps 😂

I'd love to see all you genealogy bloggers including a "share" button for Bluesky! So many more platforms and hosting services are including it as an option. I added it to my blog - plus I ditched the one for that bird site!
