It's very disturbing watching social media, fb and x in particular, manipulate the narrative after each shooting. I feel safer sharing here.

It took me a little bit to get used to it, but I'm sure once I get more acquainted it will serve the same purpose. A lot of what I see on fb has nothing to do with my friends anymore. It's what fb thinks I want to see or what fb wants me to see. I think here, at least for now, it feels safer.

Hi Nancy! It's actually fine. I will get used to the differences. The point is being connected and not having to be a part of meta or x. Fuck the fascists.

Seeing how much misinformation there is about Renee Good on other social media has made me decide to come to bluesky. It's alarming how much misinformation is out there to try to defame the murder victim's character. Some of the lies are abhorrent, posting evidence of their lies gets you blocked.
