Glad I’m here. And very excited.
09.07.2025 07:09 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Well, the trip started with a quick detour—had to drive back to my flat from the airport hotel because I forgot my passport 🙃
Then after we landed, there was a medical emergency on the plane and doctors had to attend to a passenger.
But hey, apart from that, everything’s going great! 🥴
Entrance to a modern transportation hub labeled “Welcome to The Station,” featuring icons for train, bus, and tram services above glass automatic doors.
Looks like I’ve found the one and only Station™ 😄
Just landed in Manchester—next stop: Sheffield!
Getting ready for @frontendnorth.bsky.social 🚆✨
Can I join 🙏
28.06.2025 07:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Didn’t have any good use cases in my latest projects. And I don’t want to add some animation just to have it without any purpose.
And since I’m not too familiar with view transitions yet I might overlook some nice opportunities.
As a German, I’m not expecting too much change when it comes to direct communication 😅

Then came the camera.
Today, it’s not paint that’s being replaced. It’s code.

Switching to Flex should do it as well.
A breakfast buffet featuring rows of pastries and sliced cakes. The front trays display banana bread and blueberry loaf slices on floral-patterned plates. Behind them, wooden boards hold neatly arranged croissants and pain au chocolat.
Nils, Nesim, and Jan (from left to right) stand smiling in front of a CSS Café banner. All three are wearing light pink shirts with a small owl graphic. The setting is a covered courtyard with checkered floor tiles and glass walls. A few other people are visible in the background.
Julia stands at the front of a cozy, wood-beamed room giving a talk to an attentive audience. Behind her, a presentation slide reads: ‘But can you even do anything useful?’
Johannes and Vilde are presenting in front of an audience at an indoor event. A large screen behind them displays the slide title “Ongoing Events.” The room is filled with seated attendees, viewed from the back, and has modern ceiling lights and wooden beams.
Wow – what a meetup!
Huge thanks to everyone who joined our in-person gathering right after #CSSDay.
Special shoutout to @miocene.io, Johannes, and Vilde for the fantastic talks.

Two folded T-shirts lie side by side on a white surface — one teal, one light pink. Both shirts feature an embroidered version of the "lobotomized owl," a quirky character by accessibility advocate Heydon Pickering, with red star-shaped eyes and a stitched mouth. Scattered around are various colorful stickers: two bright pink ones with the text “CSS Café,” two white ones styled like CSS code that read “.sticker { position: fixed; }”, and several playful character stickers, including blue creatures, raindrops, and a spiky-haired pink face. There’s also a small roll of stickers in the corner. The scene conveys a fun, creative atmosphere with a strong web developer and accessibility culture vibe.
Getting ready for CSS Day, part 2! I’ll have some stickers and a few owl shirts with me — if you’re around and want one, come say hi.
