I had loftier hopes to be away from the social media world for a little while longer. But unfortunately, politics drew me back in. But I will endeavor to take more breaks.

I tried. I spent about a week focusing on Argos, my writing, my own needs, and just being in my own space.

I give myself credit for that time away from all the chaos.

I'm spending more time on self-care because it's crucial to my physical and mental health.

It's an imperative.
