I finally did it, I deleted my Tumblr account. My whole transition was documented on there but so were a lot of bad memories so it was time to let go

That's the plan! I'm thinking as a "pay what you want" thing since it'll be the first thing I've ever put out there, but when I've finished and play tested it with a few different groups I'll look at other stuff that's simular and make a decision

Started writing the 80's heavy metal themed one shot during my lunch break! I've got six charecter sheets and band member bios to write next

We just had session zero and Sunday will be a kinda session 0.5 where we finalize some stuff + play a bit so it's way to early for me to say, sorry. Charecter creation was very simple compared to D&D 5E I can tell you that much at least.

In retrospect that leaves the front end of the week gameless. Oh well, works gunna be kicking my ass and I'll need time to write so I guess it works out. I'd like to run an additional game and play in one more if I can make the time ideally.

I'm running Vampire this Thursday and I'm playing in a Daggerheart game on Sunday so the end of the week will be full of games yay! 💜

Good morning! Woke up at my wonderful girlfriend's house and she fed me a healthy breakfast. 💜 I've got dbt therapy in just a little bit and then I'm going to head home and relax a bit before the busy work week. Hopefully I can get some writing in today!

Emdr therapy went well today yay. It goes to show that ptsd is not just something combat veterans get, but something that can happen to anyone, and also how dramatically past childhood experiences can shape who we are and how we behave today by an astonishing extent

My recovery group meeting went well tonight. I wish more people knew about SMART recovery. It avoids many of the complaints people have about 12 step programs but it simply doesn't have the brand recognition as say AA for example. Still, the best program is whatever helps you meet your goals best

I think their lust for power and immortality might actually be a cry for attention because when you come right down to it, all along they just wanted love and validation. Upon realizing that they're no longer capable of love it could go a couple ways. They might destroy themselves or double down

Mwahaha I did it, I've got the very rough outline written for my 1980's heavy metal themed Vampire The Masquerade one-shot. So next I need to write the damn thing properly, make charecter sheets, write an additional charecter bio for each member if the band as well as a bio for the band itself🦇

As I've thought about it during my work day, I'm realizing this would have to be a looong story to unpack all the shit I wanna unpack with it

I think that's almost as good as the time I was running a game and my players asked me the name of a New Orleans themed restaurant and I blurted out "Big Shrimpen"

As I've threatened to do in the past, I just started writing that Vampire The Masquerade one-shot where the players are members of a vampire-themed heavy metal band in 1986. I'm aiming for a three hour play time which I think should be manageable. Hopefully when I'm done I'll be able to share it 🦇
