Oh one final thought: commenting on layoffs posts “just go into tech, they pay better!” is incredibly not-helpful. That might work for a programmer, engineer, UI person, etc. Less viable for a writer, character artist, so on.

Once again: pls just be normal to people who lost their jobs.

Probably not worth paying for if you have Precheck already. If you can get it for free (some credit cards or airline status give it to you) it's nice for certain airports at certain times of day. But usually doesn't make a material difference.

I started playing long before Steam & GOG logged hours but I'm sure they number in the thousands. A part of me will always live in The City. Esp with all the incredible fan campaigns & mods *still* coming out 25 years on.
