If I read a mystery I expect mystery. If I get nothing but boobs instead I'm just gonna assume the artist doesn't know what they're doing. Maybe if they'd just draw porn on the side they could make it decent AND make a good mystery too but as it is they're doing neither

Gonna say something perhaps controversial but the worst comics are the ones where the artist would rather being drawing porn. NOT bc it's "gooner art" but bc it seems like the artist is denying what they want to do to the point where they become genre-blind. Literally just DRAW THE PORN.
