02.08.2025 03:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Old copies of SimCity for Acorn, Unix, etc. Source code for SimFarm. And an unannounced never-completed licensed console game... ;-)

Here are our thoughts on the new native app:

This is Newsweek's review of SimCity from May 29, 1989 โ the first mainstream coverage of SimCity. The founders of Maxis have credited this article for the game's success

The barren brown hills of SimCity 2000, dotted with random trees.
The Oakland Hills seen from the east. They are also brown, barren, and randomly dotted with trees.
Being in the East Bay is a key to understanding why SimCity 2000 looks the way it does
You ever wonder why the terrain in SC2000 is dull brown and dotted with random trees? Because that's what the hills actually look like in Orinda, where the game was made!

Regularly scheduled sabbaths, sabbaticals, vacations, breaks, aimless walks, and time off are essential for top performance of any kind. The best work ethic requires a good rest ethic. #excellentadvice

So basically, what I'm saying is, if you need me, I'll be watching Columbo.
Game Informer is back, baby! As someone who spent a bit of time trying to find a new home for the once defunct pub (and having no success), I am beyond delighted to see someone was smart enough to snatch this property up and hand the reins over to the team.

If you push yourself to your limits and burn out for a company, you are trading years of your future productivity for minor gains in the present.
Burning out will _fuck you up_, it's like brain fog or depression, and it takes years to recover

A book that reads in block sans serif font, "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROJECTS FOR THE COMMODORE 64." The text is red, switching to gold for the words 'Commodore 64'. Cover bottom, a Commodore 64 - a light brown all-in-one microcomputer with dark brown keys - appears. In the center, a gold PCB in the shape of a human head radiates gold wires in the way wires might radiate from a chip, creating the silhouette of a head; in the center and neck of the head-shaped PCB, chips appear.

The actors in these auditions thought they were trying out for a new TV show called The Sims. We saw dozens of audtitions and kept the best for the ads.

Pending the official approval by the JSA board on Wednesday's special meeting, he will become the 74th Yokozuna.
Panel One: A scientist works at a blackboard. Diagrams and text on the blackboard contain the phrases: crushing darkness, seemingly no escape, time drags and, inhospitably cold. A second figure approaches and, seeing the blackboard, asks "Black Holes?" Panel Two: The scientist replies "January"
