Urgh… waited in all day for a parcel from Royal Fail. Delivery supposedly between 12:55 & 3:55pm. 10mins before the end delivery time they email to say they now can’t deliver it today. What a waste of a day and frustratingly no reason given. How annoying!!!

Yep. Unfortunately they were purchased recently by Bending Spoons who have destroyed a number of other products.

They now own MeetUp, Evernote, Streamyard and Filmic Pro as well - all are expensive / unusable IMO. Such a shame.

A glorious evening spent watching the incredible force of power that is Kae Tempest at the Theatre Royal Bath. Powerful and moving performance featuring just them - no backing tracks or musicians. It gave the words even more weight than normal.

I remember the summer 1976 heatwave very clearly. Now it's different. #Heatwaves come more often & they are *global* not national/regional as the NASA heat maps from June 1976 & June 2024 show. Already very hot & dry countries have become even hotter & drier, with worse to come.

First bus really are the worst. Today the driver was rudely telling people to hurry up and get on and then proceeded to shut doors abruptly trapping people in them. I give up! Our council don’t seem interested in sorting the issues with them so what do we do? Get the transport secretary involved?

Today I doorknocked Jackie, who - unprompted - said this:

The Stage are putting their subscription price up - which is understandable given the cost of everything. However removing the option to un-subscribe from the website is very naughty & not what I expected from them. Surely it's not legal to force people to pay for something or contact them to cancel
