It was so curious and cute.
I tried to get some video, this is the best I could do unfortunately!

@jemsjumpers.bsky.social Hi Jem your photos are great! Thought I'd share something with you.
It's Saturday here in Melbourne and I was just having a cuppa out on our patio when I spotted this in my cup! Managed to extract it and get a close up.
Can you ID it?
Since getting Nagi's book this is the way I've been doing it. No more mushy or chalky rice, it's a game changer! 🍚

12.07.2025 08:55 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Every Saturday my dad and comrades would head into the town centre to give the papers out to the public. I was mortified on the days I had to go along with them. People from school would laugh at me, some not-so-socialists were aggressive, actual street fights with the NF were common 3/

09.07.2025 13:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Excellent article, thanks. Socialist Worker? There's a name I haven't heard in a long time!
I remember 1980, 9yo, having to go the British Rail parcel office every Friday after school to collect a bundle of Socialist Organiser papers hot off the press from London for my dad to distribute locally 1/
Thanks! The first Ep is on TV tonight 8.30pm or binge the lot on iView 👍

Routines are a form of emotional regulation
They bring:
- comfort
- structure
- predictability
in a world that feels overwhelming
Routines also reduce the burden of decision-making, which can be incredibly effortful for autistic minds
Hi Tony. You were gravy on the spelling gravy tonight 👍🤓

So it turns out that what I've always called my 'wigging out' episodes actually have a name - Derealization. 100% matches my experience when they happen.
Thanks again. All the best.
Stress, fear, anxiety, loss of control over outside factors. We see what's going on out there and are overwhelmed. Just be aware of what this does to the body and mind. Anxiety and worrying is normal, but it quickly can develop into more scary situations.

I sincerely hope that they don't lead to permanent fences!

Doesn't feel right 'liking' this comment but I suspect you're right in what's said. I remember this poster from the early 80s which seems relevant again
