In case any of you are believing the narrative that 🧊 has pulled out of Minnesota, this happened a few miles from my house this morning. There are reports like this all over the state. They may be less active in Minneapolis for appearances, but they’re upping their presence everywhere else.

I haven’t. We don’t have them here in Minnesota. We don’t have Sees either, so I order it. It’s something I associate with my childhood.

Sees chocolate, Animal Crossing, and speed skating. Not hating it. Treat ‘yo selves this evening, friends.

The Floridian in me finds this extremely funny. You can buy a lot with money, but you can’t buy taste or common sense.

This is why we no longer rub elbows with our MAGA relatives or many of our past Mormon congregants. There will be no normalization of fascism in this home. It’s not politics. It’s basic human decency.

Fun fact- I had to take my senior exams because I had a single unexcused absence that year (you got to skip them if you had none) because I couldn’t bring myself to go to class on Valentine’s Day, knowing everyone else except me would get “candy grams” and my mom refused to excuse it. So… yeah.

No matter how long I’ve been married, that big eyed, very tiny but very precocious little girl who always got fewer valentines than her classmates (one year, none) because she asked too many questions and read too much and was too shy will always kind of hate Valentine’s Day.

I volunteer him as tribute. Also this absolutely has to be the dumbest timeline ever.

I’ve been screaming this for years, though there are plenty of women who are also complicit, so more than anything we need generational and systemic change across the board. It needs to start with accountability. Burn it all down.

Basically. There have been SO MANY instances of this happening. The priesthood leader trumps everything. Women and children are commodities. It makes me sick and they need to be held accountable for all of these cover ups. Tithing money pays for lawyers to protect abusers. Full stop.
