Our seasonal Witches' Brews are FREE online witchy mini conferences that include potion making (our magical beverage segment), guest presentations, sometimes a hands-on project, and time to socialize & connect with other attendees, Brew guests & hosts, & the CTWC community.

Glamour & You features presentations by our own History Witch Lee Ignire on glamour in history & pop culture; Bree Nicgarran, author of Grovedaughter Witchery; Savannah Rayne, the DIYWitch; and a panel discussion including Bree, Savannah, and our own Alex Wrekk & Jul Bloomfield.

Sometimes we have folks that we’d love to have join us for CRITWITCHCON or one of our Witches’ Brew events throughout the year, but scheduling proves difficult, so we’ve started a little side project of audio interviews & chats that allows us to record as our favorite people are available.

As always, we had some excellent community time in our breakout rooms, talking about the Yule season in our parts of the world, how we look at the onset of winter from a magical perspective, and how we can witch ourselves into our wider communities! ❄☕🍊

Our gnome Jul made some delicious citrusy potions, aka festive and magical beverages for the season! Hayley Jay (that's me!) did a two-part demonstration on 18th century "fruit bark" boxes, and how we can use oranges and orange peel boxes in our spellwork! ❄☕🍊

A notable takeaway was the concept that "capitalism loves a solitary witch", which has us all thinking hard about the benefits & limitations of solitary practice, and our communal responsibility as witches in society. ❄☕🍊
