Very fancy potato postcard from my collection, date unknown.

There are two graphics modes I've been able to find. As such, I've been able to display both NAPLPS images and Minitel images. Since this particular unit doesn't have a serial port (some do), I've used a phone line simulator to send it the graphic files. #vintagecomputer #retrocomputer
This picture shows an image of a screen that would have been part of a NAPLPS based service. You have navigation on screen as well as the content. It's nostalgic for me to watch how the image is built up with vector graphics.
This picture shows a vector line being randomly drawn on screen.
Bell Canada had a Videotex service from 1988-1994. The AlexTel terminal looked similar to the French Minitel terminal but had advanced NAPLPS vector based rendering. NAPLPS was the evolution of Telidon. It's too bad they weren't colour terminals but I've been able to display some NAPLPS samples.
