Logline: An imperceptible entity of the Bayou lovingly harvests children and their silk.

(I like to write very normal, fun, silly things haha)

There is nothing quite so satisfying as seeing my words in screenplay format.

Lesson: read/pay attention to a whole grant before applying. Just spent a couple hours working on an artist grant writing endlessly about “darkness,” “horror,” and “reclaiming themes demonized by colonization” only to submit and realize the grant has a Bible verse at the top of the page 🤦🏽

Today I learned you can write about orcs (I love orcs) without copyright infringement as long as you make them more unique, nuanced, creative, and ideally less racist than Tolkien. Well, that shouldn’t be hard.

I’ve never written my own language before. I’m more of the amoeba-shaped creative than a Lego-shaped one. BUT today I was struck with the words of a new language so hard I had to (yes literally) drop everything and write it down. Well, we shall see where this goes!
