Now cancer free, Aiden, founder of Aiden's Helping Hands, has raised more than $200,000 to reduce the financial burden for families battling pediatric cancer.
This afternoon, we welcomed Aiden to meet with players and coaches and help us kick off Yinzerpalooza Weekend with the first pitch!
Essentially 100% of patients I see for substance use are on Medicaid (or uninsured & working to get on Medicaid). Most cannot afford their lifesaving medications without coverage & I’ve seen devastating results from coverage lapses in the past. This bill’s new “requirements” are going to kill people

The latest 12-month report from the CDC showed 1,400 more deaths in January of this year compared with the year prior. This comes after more than a year of dramatic progress. Experts say they're not sure if this is a "blip" or something more troubling.

While we were very fortunate with our insurance coverage, we also realized firsthand what a gamechanger ACA was for pre-existing conditions. So grateful, for her sake. 💛

Findings from a study titled "the preliminary impact of a cancer-specific financial navigation intervention program across age groups"
Excited to have shared study findings at #SSWR2025! 🌟
While cancer survivors of all ages showed a decrease in financial toxicity (FT) after a financial treatment program, middle-aged cancer survivors FT were still severe. So much more work to be done (and is underway)! #financialtoxicity #oncology
