Rap Brown of SNCC and the Black Liberation Movement — walked through this world with fire in his chest and truth on his tongue. Stolen from his community, caged for decades, and denied the medical care that could’ve saved him — yet he never surrendered his faith, his discipline, or his commitment to the people. Even behind bars, he remained a symbol of resistance. Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin died on November 23, 2025, not a “prisoner,” but a political captive of a system threatened by Black liberation, self-determination, and uncompromising truth. LIST THREE C. Suspected Leadership role: Name: Reyhard Rumbayan Eat was arrested in Makassar on 23 September 2025. Eat had previously been in prison for a FAI-IRF attack against a bank in solidarity with injured anarchist comrade Luciano Tortuga in Chile, 2011. Eat has been accused of a leadership role within the "Chaos Star" network and leader of the anarchist rioters. Eat is in solitary isolation and isn't allowed to meet anyone. Eat had a pre-trial hearing on 16th October and Eat's investigation period extends to 20 November 2020. Eat has serious health conditions and has paralysis in his arm after a motorbike accident some years ago where one other comrade died. Eat needs ongoing medical care.

Name: Bima Satria Putra Bima is an anarchist imprisoned for 10 kilos of cannabis who is known for his prisoner's union project, translations and writings since he was jailed in 2021. Bima has been transferred from Palembang City detention centre to Bandung, where the 43 "Chaos Star" network defendants are all held. It's unclear what charges have been brought against him due to the general lack of information. Most likely, instigation, and ascribing a leadership role due to his public writings. However, Bima is not part of any individualist/nihilist anarchist network or any egoist cell.

The charges against the all suspects include violations of Articles 187 and/or 170 and/or 406, and/or Article 1 (1) of the Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951, with a maximum prison sentence of up to 20 years. Additionally, they may be charged under Article 45a (2) in conjunction with Article 28 (2) of Law No. 1 of 2024, which amends Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE), and/or Article 170 of the Penal Code, and/or Article 406 of the Penal Code, and/or Article 66 of Law No. 24 of 2009 on the National Flag, Language, Emblems, and National Anthem. The punishment could be up to 6 years in prison. For provocation, they can also be charged under Article 45a (2) in conjunction with Article 28 (2) of Law No. 1 of 2024, which amends Law No. 11 of 2008 on ITE, with a maximum sentence of 6 years and/or a fine of up to IDR 1,000,000,000 (one billion rupiah).

Anarchists in Indonesia are calling for international support for comrades imprisoned and tortured following the August uprisings. In the wake of mass protests against corruption and inequality, around 900 people are being detained and named as suspects, many of them anarchists or sympathisers, spread across various cities. The latest solidarity call named over 40 anarchists arrested in West Java, accused of being part of the so-called "Chaos Star” network, which the government describes as a "foreign- backed anarchist group”. According to an activist source, the arrests were triggered by social media posts showing actions such as Molotov cocktail attacks.

The detainees face charges ranging from property destruction to online incitement. While many are still awaiting trial, some of the accused face up to 20 years in prison. The imprisoned comrades have been isolated, and their access to legal representation has been severely restricted. Many are young, and their families report widespread torture and abuse, with some forced to give false confessions. Among those accused of "leading" the network and the recent anarchist uprisings are Bima Satria Putra, an anarchist jailed since 2021 on cannabis charges. Recently transferred to solitary confinement at Lapas Merah Mata, his family and lawyers have been blocked from seeing him. Another is Reyhard Rumbayan, known as Eat, who was arrested in Makassar on 23 September 2025 and is currently held in solitary confinement and denied contact with others.

The unrest began in August 2025, when widespread anger against former military leader Prabowo Subianto's regime sparked protests that quickly turned violent, and later spread to Nepal and the Philippines as well as Morocco, Madagascar and Peru. The Indonesian government has since responded with mass arrests, media manipulation, and brutal policing. The crackdown is seen as part of a broader government effort to suppress anarchist movements, echoing past anti-communist purges. International solidarity is crucial, as anarchists call on supporters to send letters and postcards to the imprisoned comrades.

Today we honor the life and legacy of Assata Shakur — revolutionary, writer, and freedom fighter. After surviving state violence, wrongful conviction, and years of imprisonment, Assata escaped the Clinton Correctional Facility for Women in New Jersey on November 2nd, 1979. She was freed by members of the Black Liberation Army, who posed as visitors, took two guards hostage, and commandeered a prison van. After a period in hiding, Shakur resurfaced in Cuba in 1984 where they embraced her and was granted political asylum and refuge. For over 45 years, despite being placed on the FBI’s “Most Wanted” list they were were never able to capture her. She remains a symbol of freedom, resistance, and defiance against an empire built on prisons and police. She is a testament to liberation and courage against an empire that tried to break her. Assata lives on in every struggle for Black liberation, every fight against prisons and police, every act of solidarity with oppressed peoples worldwide. She will remain in our hearts forever. Our first Running Down the Walls event was rained out, but that DID NOT STOP US! We spent the day at the park, flags flying high, and sharing zines and food with curious neighbors. These crucial steps build community, helping us spread the word about abolitionist prisoner support and challenge others to question the inhumane prison industrial complex. Friends @cienfuegos.coop provided zines and coffee for the day! This year we raised a total of $750 for the Anarchist Black Cross War Chest, which distributes funds to political prisoners every month! Next year our goal is to raise over $1000 for those fighting inside. While nature may have had other plans, some of our members and attendees didn’t let that stop them; they completed the 5k under torrents of rainfall, honoring the commitment they made to those inside who were participating on this same day. In 1999, in the name of the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) he set fire to a lab at the University of Michigan that was conducting research on genetically modified organisms (GMO). After Marius' husband turned states-evidence, Marius was threatened with a life sentence for the arson and other acts of sabotage. With little financial stability and fear of dragging his family into a costly legal battle, Marius pled guilty and was given an extreme sentence of nearly 22 years. His indigenous name is Oso Blanco or Yona Unega in Cherokee.
