We've been saying it for months, and I'm glad the Dutch government has now taken this stance: Israel is violating international law and this must mean consequences for the EU-Israel Association Agreement. The EU is Israel's biggest trade partner and we have an obligation to stop business as usual.

Yesterday, a majority of right-wing, conservative and far-right MEPs voted against our proposed debate on #Israel 's ongoing plan to fully invade and annex #Gaza.

We need to address these issues while we can still act, not after the deed is done and all we can do is deplore and condemn.

Right now, death by starvation is a real threat for thousands of Palestinians, including many children. Israel continues to block humanitarian aid.
