One of the things that personally drives me crazy in the U.S. is how youth sports/athletic activities went from a part of the public good (municipal leagues and fields! rec centers! public parks!) to a privatized, expensive, highly competitive, highly structured pursuit for wealthy kids’ résumés

it’s really annoying that the ‘defund the police’ conversation in the mainstream is only ever “should we have more or less police officers?” and not the “police officers shouldn’t be armed with riot gear and tanks and also can kill people” conversation

The calls for trans people to be quieter as we're wiped out are only going to increase, and you owe it to your sisters and brothers to get louder and louder.

Dealing with people over the age of 60 in a customer service position is so frustrating & I severely dislike doing it.

I have a feeling that's what happened to me. Got COVID one time & these symptoms just keep getting progressively worse and worse

I don't have an official diagnosis (yet) but I have way too many symptoms for something to not be going on (temp regulation issues, night sweats, dizziness when standing, HR jumping & sustaining when standing)

Like the amount I sweat on a daily basis is so gross 😩

He does this behavior on days I am super active & pushing myself. He usually only stays for 15-20 mins & then leaves once he knows i am good or the other cat subs in. It could def be other things, of course, but I like to think he's looking out for me

I think my cat may be inadvertently trained on my dysautonomia bc he screamed at me until I sat down and is now sitting on my lap as I lay on the couch forcing me to rest. Bless animals 🙏

They’re scared of millennials bc we’re fluent in both analog & digital communications. We can act as a bridge to connect older gens to tech and younger gens to the world before tech.That’s why the media tries to turn older gens against us by framing us as lazy, & younger by framing us uncool.
