I don't understand how saying "backslash" in URLs became a mainstream mix-up. The person saying it almost always just means "slash" or "forward slash" if you're being verbose. But I hear people say "backslash" all the time. Just heard it in an ad on a podcast.

A piece of collateral damage in this new age is lack of understanding of the value of infrastructure.

Quality infrastructure takes creativity, it’s fascinating, it’s crucial. We’ve lost the plot, relegating it to being described as a cost center.

Now do it again but different things cost different amounts of money and they all have to pay taxes.

Real question: What countries should we look to for examples of rule of law and rights for all?

YTD has been bad, but if you've been investing for longer than a year, you're probably still up.

It sucks that this downturn is unnecessary and avoidable, but it's hardly the end of days...so far.

Maybe it's just because I would be collateral damage in this scenario, but I'm skeptical Trump supporters would see the light if Fox News tells them it's Biden's fault, or whatever story they come up with next.

Accountability doesn't seem like a likely outcome.

Hot take: If you're sitting in a large room with rows of mostly empty chairs, don't take the first seat on the aisle. It just means the next person has to climb over you.
