This has been the product he’s rolled out every week since he arrived outside of the Iowa game last year. I was rooting for him, but it’s not going to work. There has to be something to point at as proof of concept of how this will work. We haven’t seen it.

Any scoop on additional urinal targets? Should be able to get a solid 2 guard. Asking anyone decent to come be backup PG is a tall task. A single combo guard doesn’t feel like enough, but maybe that’s “strength in numbers” recency bias.

I think we matchup well. They’re a poor rebounding team and lack true size. Biggest guy that plays real minutes is 6’9”. They’re also better at running teams off the line than keeping them out of the paint. We’ll see Friday, but my initial feelings are positive.

Will be interesting to see what Bama and Tenn do during the SEC tourney, too. A bad loss for either could help move the needle in our direction
