Does ChatGPT even do it accurately? ChatGPT only really does natural sounding text generation well, it's pretty notorious for getting facts wrong all the time, including some hilarious examples of it getting math wrong.

The AI policies a bit back were genuinely so tone deaf. Like DeviantArt had issues for a while, but that was the nail in the coffin for me. Of all spaces for that to happen, the space specifically for artists is an especially grim one.

I'm seeing less posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them, and losing them money.

Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.

I think it is jealousy + a disrespect of art. A lot of those folks seem to view art mostly as a product, something to be consumed, and not as a valuable trade. But since it is a skill, you have to put work into making your own art.

Art fight is optional! Sometimes you gotta focus on yourself. It's all good!

I think to an extent, making the internet more scattered and less centralized is better in the long run, but the money end can't be fixed unless the payment processors themselves change. Still probably good to set up some personal websites imo.
