This is a struggle all creators of all kinds are feeling these days. When people use AI to write content and the consumers of that content use AI to summarize it... does quality, thought, clarity, insight even matter?

I've heard/seen the "yam tits" one before. One of the other colorful ones that I enjoy is "orange shitkankle"

Well, I figured out what all of the songs had in common - they're all from video game soundtracks.

This is a genre I absolutely never listen to (except for the once-or-twice-a-year use of the Myst soundtrack for ambience)

Logged into #Spotify this morning. My "daily mix 1"--a mix I basically rely on for all my music--was no longer recommending anything I like and was full of junk from a genre I've never even heard of.

I wonder if they switched to AI recommendations over the weekend 🤔

I've been hosing down my deck every couple of hours to keep from burning doggo and people-o paws alike.

The AI assistant I was using just refactored an issue with a module import... It said the following:

"...addressing the issue with the previous dodgy import. The file has been updated successfully."

Since when does an AI refer to things as "dodgy import"s ??

I don't know if there's anything left in my career worth accomplishing.

Achievement unlocked: Today I needed some functionality in #Haskell and I wrote a Monad and an accompanying monadic "lift" function to compose two monads to get lots of rich functionality in a single function.

It's basically all downhill from here.

I did try AI first, but it was completely wrong.
