I was (until v recently) working at a film camera store. I didn't/don't ever use tripods, but I was always surprised handling any of the SLIK tripods. Like, sturdy design, p affordable (under $100), and surprisingly lightweight (grain of salt: I'm biased bc of the HEFTY wood tripods I had to pack).
