Reform are now the big climate deniers on the block & a clear & present danger to our children & grandchildren. Funded by fossil fuels is it any surprise they are siding with the companies that did the danger in the first place?

Just in case you were wondering how the Government is really getting on with its agenda/manifesto commitments after just 18 months

Our biased media will not, of course, offer this analysis:

We really shouldn't be that surprised by how bad things in US are. Almost all wrong doing is easily explained away or blamed on something else, rather than question own choices.

A colorful cartoon image titled "How can you tell if someone is vegan? Don't worry, everyone around him will certainly let you know." The image depicts a man in a suit gesturing while surrounded by various speech bubbles containing common anti-vegan comments, including:

- "I tried to be vegan, but lions."
- "Vegans are just so pushy!"
- "I saw this scary article about soy..."
- "Vegans are like fundamentalists."
- "Vegans think they're so much better than everyone else."
- "...the old Indian word for 'bad hunter'."
- "Why don't you vegans focus on things that really matter?"
- "My neighbor's brother-in-law's daughter tried to be vegan, and she almost died."
- "Blah, blah, blah, blah, Hitler, blah, blah, blah."
- "My food poops on your food."
- "I heard that veganism is usually masking an eating disorder."

I think I listened to Frankie while crafting - it's read by him which adds a lot to it I think.

I realise I'm recommending a lot but Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver. About nature, man's effect on the environment- and love. It's another brilliant book. I listened to it vs reading that one and will need to re-read at some point. Although Barb reads it so that was lovely.

Also, have you read Martyr? Got cut of the list. I devoured that book. Loved it.

Actually if you've not read Frankie yet, I'd highly recommend it. Sobbed for about half an hour at the end.

Then of the others just because they're so different:
Glorious Exploits - takes a while but stick with it
Immaculate Conception (defies description; not a comfy read)

I love him and The Friends is the best of all IMHO. Beautiful in every way and about art and grief and redemption

My Friends and All the Colours of the Dark
But then as back up Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books and The Names
Although I've just re-read Miss Benson's Beetle and loved it. Effortless prose - uplifting, funny, heartbreaking all in one. Might appeal to women more πŸ€”

Watercolour drawing (quite large) of the garden a couple of summers ago. A very hot year and we had a good crop of plum tomatoes.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.
