I made the mistake of reading this NYT story - among others - last night.Woke this morning to @steveinskeep.bsky.social & Tom Bowman discussing implications beyond what kept me awake long past my usual sleep-time. This is a must listen. Even the potential govt. shutdown news feels different now.
