Black people in Chicago had their apartment building raided in the middle of the night, were detained for hours, and had their Fourth Amendment rights violated during an ICE operation that had nothing to do with them. Nah, they are not thrilled.

Obama didn’t turn deportations into “bread and circuses” style entertainment either. He just got the job done, legally and quietly. That’s why the MAGA crowd thinks Obama did nothing about the problem.
They like to see action. Trump/ICE is putting on a wild show for them.

We need a new team. Younger. Aggressive.
Energetic.
Better messaging.

The Democratic Party needs to get younger, feistier, smarter at messaging and more in touch with the electorate, both at the state and federal levels.

Democratic voters need to get more discerning about who they choose to fight against the rising tide of oligarchic fascism.
