Anyway... The hospital got me in and out in 6 hours. I got there at 8pm, I was home at 2am. Triaged, checked out and released. Only downside I had to get a cab home... This is all peak COVID and now after COVID its a lot worse.

Ambulance turned up within 20 minutes (coming 20 miles in 45 minutes take some going on A roads so fair play). They diagnosed me then and there. I was then put into the back of the ambulance (ridiculously high BP) and rushed not to my local... but to a hospital 20 miles away. Seen straight away 2/2

In 2021, I had a stroke. I don't mean to keep reminding people I had one but anyway...

We rang 111 as was advised. Went through all the options to try and get somewhere. At this point, I turned to my partner and said... If we keep going through these menus I'll probably be dead. So we rang 999 1/2

It wasn't me; it was my partner. She had a an issue with her eyes that just spun out of control quickly.

But there were cancer patients that had also been there for a long time arriving before us.

Try 24hrs in an A&E waiting room.

I know how it feels. I've lost a lot of older cats over the years. My current girls are 14 and 7, no major health issues yet. 14 year old has slowed down a lot this year though
