yknow sometimes you intend to have an actual social media precense and then months later realize your brain is really bad at coming up with things to post consistently

Sakura Toon is now FREE! (and has built-in documentation)

I haven't worked on it much recently, so I decided it wasn't fair to keep it paywalled anymore, and it is now freely available!

I also have some new projects that I might post about, and my Ko-fi is still up if you'd like to support them :3

unity is great I love unity there's no way they could possibly make FUNDAMENTAL BREAKING CHANGES to how their shader processor works in unity 6 nope no never no way.

anyways my shaders work in unity 6 now :3

ASGHJJHGF MY SHADER SUPPORTS URP NOW

I wrote an entire shader compatibility layer (which I might release separately sometime) to allow any shader to easily work across different unity render pipelines, and it is WORKING!

also I reworked my LTCGI integration a bit :3

Heya! Been too busy to post recently, but I wanted to let you know that the third release of my toon shader is now available!

Most notably it includes LTCGI support and editor material property groups, but there's been a bunch of small fixes and improvements too :)

LTCGI itself only provides fairly basic lighting information, so I wasn't able to *fully* toonify it as I wanted, but yes :)

My toon shader now supports LTCGI lighting!

No special configuration needed, just a single checkbox to enable it, and it automatically supports most of my regular lighting effect settings :)

I learned the hard way that my body apparently HATES subq injections.. (nothing serious, but very large and long-lasting irritation patches)

I'm too tired to make a clip talking about it today, but I added material property syncing, so that property values can be shared between multiple materials without having to multiedit them every time.

Also let you name the sync groups so that you can actually know what one you have open :)

you actually can get them running under linux! at least, kinda
check out Bottles, it has lots of different configs of wine/proton/etc for running different apps.

I managed to get affinity photo running and functioning a while ago, albeit with some flickering issues

I go back and forwards between dark and light modes a lot.. light mode is so pretty but also ow eye strain
