Queensland has extremely weak penalties. In other Australian states, the vehicles and equipment used in the commissioning of the offences would have been seized, the penalties would have been multiple thousands of $ per person and required them to pay for the building removal and site restitution.

This LAPD Officer is clearly identifiable from the footage. He fired deliberately, intending to cause pain and injury to a female reporter without any threat or danger being present.
