Hoping this happens in NJ. We need the same in CA, the worst state in the U.S. in terms of school librarians in schools 50/50.

SEND AN EMAIL: Every Student in New Jersey Needs a School Librarian A1712 / S2316 (2024) requires a “ratio of school library media specialists to students” allowing every student to have access to the support of a certified school librarian.

Research repeatedly shows: schools w/ robust library programs have students with higher outcomes across all measures - academic, social, & personal!

If we want to provide NJ students with strong educational foundations, school librarians are essential.
