Every time I see "AI" being crammed into another consumer product I think of how in the 50s we put radium in suppositories because "the atom" was the snakeoil hype of the moment

as a proponent of unconditional bodily autonomy and in particular the bimbo lifestyle and aesthetic, i think the main difference here is that this is done specifically for in-group signaling, not out of any personal aesthetic preference

It's funny that anyone thinks chatgpt is answering any question that already isn't on Reddit. The answers are coming from somewhere, and if they're too unique it'll require someone who can think outside the box, so to speak. LLM's are firmly, squarely inside a box - and they're still often wrong

I write weird-ass books. They take a long time to write: I pour layers of weird and the layers need to set before I can layer on more weird. But it's still a story.

I'm not worried about a machine automating weirdness. The internet has been weird my whole life and we've still needed weird stories.
