Interesting discussions yesterday by Minister of State for Local Government & English Devolution, & @coopparty.party.coop Chair, @jimmcmahon.co.uk, on the #LabourParty & #CoopParty Government’s English Devolution & Community Empowerment Bill.

Another classic good interesting #SevenoaksDebatingSociety session yesterday with some interesting discussions & points on if the USA was right to attack Iran & if artificial intelligence is a force for good.

Yesterday I attended the commemoration of the 51st anniversary of the invasion of #Cyprus at St Mary’s Cathedral with Bishop Iakovos, Cyprus High Commission in the UK High Commissioner @kyriacoskouros.bsky.social, National Fed of Cypriots in the UK Pres Christos Karaolis & MP @bambosmp.bsky.social.

To mark #InternationalDayOfCooperatives, alongside the brilliant Terry, I held a street stall this morning.

Co-operatives build stronger, fairer economies, sharing power & wealth. Me & the Maidstone And West Kent @coopparty.party.coop Team are proud to be part of the cooperative movement.

Can’t believe it’s been 1 year since the election of the #LabourParty & @coopparty.party.coop Government.

Was good to hear & reflect yesterday on how our party candidates did at the #LocalElections2024, on our now #LabourParty & @coopparty.party.coop Government & how our party is growing & achieving our co-op priorities at the #CoopParty AGM.

Some lovely & amazing food, stalls & music yesterday at the #UzbekFestival in #PottersFieldPark by @towerbridge1894.bsky.social.

Even though I didn’t quite get the result I hoped for in the @unison.org.uk NEC election yesterday, I’m very proud to have stood, to have met & have a chat with many fantastic members, & to get to know many of my fellow brilliant @memberstogether.bsky.social candidates.

Interesting & informative discussions yesterday at the Southeast @youngunison.bsky.social Forum meeting about organising young @unison.org.uk members & strategic organising.

98 years ago today, @coopparty.party.coop & #LabourParty signed the Cheltenham Agreement, creating the historic partnership between the two Parties.
I’m proud to be a member of both #SevenoaksLabourParty & Maidstone & West Kent #CoopParty.

Was good yesterday to join @ladylolaoyewusi.bsky.social in representing the Maidstone & West Kent @coopparty.party.coop at the South East of England @coopparty.party.coop meeting & to hear from #CoopParty NEC Rep for England South Lucy Naylor.

Even though I didn’t have any luck, it was fun dressing up as the UK’s first PM Sir Robert Walpole & see people vote for the #LabourParty legend Clement Attlee as who they thought was the best PM at the #SevenoaksDebatingSociety last week.

A big thank you for the Maidstone And West Kent #CoopParty allowing me to continue as Secretary.
