Twitter is in inevitable decline and Musk is the cause - he has made his involvement with it toxic.

The only hope is for Musk to be removed and replaced by someone who can bring it back to a place of sanity - someone whose job is running the platform. Moderation is essential.

Clearly rattled him. He always had the option of saying nothing, but no. He can’t do it. Instead he has to take a pop at someone who was more measured, meaningful and intelligent than he could ever be - but he can’t see it.

Given the choice of saying nothing and hoping the embarrassment would quietly go away - and going public he, predictably, posts about it.
