I haven't kept up super well with the Avatar cards, but have they revealed any cards that show what the elementbending ability actually does? I don't think we've seen any with reminder text, but could be wrong.

I wonder why they didn’t write the second ability as “leaves the battlefield”… flicker effects exile, so those still trigger it, so I wonder what scenario “leaves the battlefield” would do more than this templating. Regardless, seems like a sweet aristocrats/flicker commander from #MTGEternities

No deck tech this week! I have to prepare for a big work event and am working on digitizing my personal EDH decks on to Archidekt/Moxfield. I’ll post once I have the first batch uploaded so stay tuned to see what I personally play on Magic nights!

Please, please, please let there be a legendary creature with "Captain" in its name so everytime I play it I can scream "CAPTAIN PLANET!" like that one Robot Chicken episode. That's all I wish for. #MTGEternities

Started up Final Fantasy 12 today after beating FF16 (which was phenomenal btw). I don’t know what others opinions on FF12 is, but so far, I’m loving it. Still figuring out the gambit stuff, but other than that, super cool combat system and love the wide open exploration!

The BEST part was the T-Rex part that they obviously based on the scene in the book. I absolutely loved that little inclusion for those who’ve read it!

Saw Jurassic World Rebirth last night with the kiddo. Not too bad. I’m just really not a fan of the mutated dinosaurs (I think the real dinosaurs were cool enough) but other than that, it was a good action packed movie.

Was talking with a co-worker about the Standard bans and listening to him come up with new deck ideas and honestly... It kind of makes me want to get into standard. I haven't played standard since the OG Tarkir days (Siege Rhino, ugh), but I may try it again with #MTGEternities comes out!

Looks like some cool stuff in here! Very interested in the “Munitions” token. Also, what do we think the “Arch” charm will be? Archscientist? Archrobot? Are those even things?! Maybe Archnemesis, that’d be pretty cool. #MTGEternities

Fun trumps power every time IMO. Try to make a restricted deck (only creatures, only 3 cmc cards, etc); that’s always one of the best ways to play with fun and unique cards and not feel like you’re purposefully depowering a deck for no reason.

I don’t play Standard but wow, that seems like one hell of a drop of the banhammer. #MTG
