Re-adjusting to life following a period as inpatient in an acute mental health ward can be extremely difficult. This funded project by @kingsioppn.bsky.social researched provision of activities on wards, particularly for people living with psychosis. maudsleycharity.org/case-studies...

In 2019, Marta was funded by the @maudsleycharity.bsky.social to set up the CCP as the first and only clinical service in the UK to support young people after their first episode of psychosis to reduce/stop their use of cannabis.

Tonight we welcome Professor Marta Di Forti for her inaugural lecture as Professor of Drugs, Genes and Psychosis. Her lecture tonight is “A journey from Sicily, through Curry to Cannabis.”

The full lecture will be available online at a later date.
