Last week, as part of a WHO-led convoy in cooperation with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), three patients and more than 30 companions and hospital staff were evacuated from the severely damaged Indonesia Hospital in Gaza.

On May 27, 2025, the CADUS MEDEVAC team, in coordination with the WHO, the PRCS, and the UN, carried out a MedEvac in Gaza. During the mission, one person with a leg amputation without access to food or water was rescued from a destroyed area and received medical care.

On Monday morning CADUS evacuated a 16-month-old child with acute leukemia to Jordan.
The general need is immense: healthcare in Gaza has largely collapsed - a reliable evacuation system is urgently needed.

In early April 2025, a truck departed from the Makerspace on Holzmarktstr. in Berlin, heading towards Kharkiv, Ukraine – on board: around 180,000 disposable syringes.
The organization and transport were made possible by ROLLING HOSPITAL International.

We provide emergency medical aid in Gaza with an international team. For us, passports don’t matter—only our patients’ well-being. Our Gaza colleagues have been displaced multiple times. We stay and support each other to keep helping, despite the worsening situation.

Last week we carried out two paediatric medical evacuations - the youngest patients we have ever transported since the beginning of our Ukraine project.
Given the uncertain political situation and looming funding gaps, our work relies on support more than ever.

As part of a comprehensive training program by the International Red Cross (IRC & PRCS), conducted by CADUS staff, 46 participants – including 7 medical professionals and 39 individuals without a medical background – were prepared for life-saving measures in emergency situations.

Following a mass casualty incident caused by a missile strike, the ICU of the local hospital was overwhelmed with more than 60 patients.
Our team assisted in the initial assessment of the injured and transferred patients to less burdened hospitals.
