I'm very happy to have found a barbershop within a mile of my house, with bike racks right outside the door, and a barber that I like.

By that I mean that this would be an exemption on a tax levied exclusively by local governments, so there wouldn't be a state revenue impact. If there's enough of a school district revenue loss, there would be a state cost.

I have no idea where they came up with $44 million as a potential impact.

Kind of curious about their analysis of Prop 5.

I've stopped getting on the southbound orange sidewalk/bike lane on Robert Dedman because there usually cars parked on it. Northbound it's just students and Moody Center event crowds walking in it.

I don't understand why the city put a two-way protected bike lane on the side of Airport Blvd that runs next to railroad tracks and doesn't have any destinations on it. Is it supposed to be an express lane between 51st and 45th?

My collection of Ash singles is a source of great happiness. Angel Interceptor is such a good song.

The crosswalk is in a breezeway between a parking garage and office building and there are large speed bumps on either side of it.

I had a driver get mad at me this morning because I shook my head at them after they blew through a crosswalk I was walking in and missed hitting me by a foot or so.

He stopped and asked me if we had a problem. Eventually he said that it was early and he's tired, but he tried.

The fox has since moved to the birdbath.

We were seeing one every day until the big hail storm. This is the second time we've seen one since then. Something dug a hole under the fence to get under the neighbors shed in the last week or two, so I wonder if that's fox-related.
