My arborist neighbor told me he's never seen defoliation at the scale we have on our street and he's not sure if our shade trees will be able to recover.

After 9, I told a friend that I was scared for the final three because of how progressively intense it was getting. Episode 9 was so good.

I thought episode 10 was particularly good.

It took a couple episodes for me to get used to all of the jumping from one story to another but I still enjoyed it. The third episode on was amazing.

I've got a lot of work ahead of me this weekend.

There's not a lot you can do with 80 mph wind and 2-3" hail.

I rode my bike through East Austin today and saw a lot of damage. My street doesn't have downed trees in front yards, but we literally lost almost all of our leaves. I credit my arborist neighbor for the lack of tree -based structural damage.

I'm struggling to get my head around the complete defoliation of the trees on my street. It looks like winter and feels like summer. I don't know if they'll have the energy to produce enough leaves to survive the summer.

We lost half our fence last night, but sadly all landscape projects were also destroyed. It's amazing how giant everything seems when there isn't a fence in the way.

Neighbor kid said this is the closest thing to a natural disaster he's ever experienced and I had to let him know that this counts as a natural disaster.
