Incredibly difficult to square this with your disappointing decision to lay off your politics staff. I'm a college professor and sent my students several of @leximcmenamin.com's and others' pieces this winter and spring to provide smart, accessible context on Trump administration policies.

After today's firings, it's clear that Teen Vogue no longer cares about freedom or quality journalism. So sad. 😞

I’ve been very impressed by the quality of reporting from Ten Vogue and loved that such perceptive and trenchant work was coming from what many might consider an unlikely source. More you’ve gutted the political staff. A deeply disappointing and likely self-destructive move.
