What kind of freak do you have to be to want to rule the world? What kind of fuked up sadist enjoys spreading misery to demonstrate his power and entitlement?

In the U.S., the difference between capitalism, socialism and communism is a matter of semantics - campaign talking points meaning absolutely nothing.
The dominant political systems in the U.S. since the end of WWII are imperialism and militarism.

There's absolutely no reason for the U.S. to attack any other country.
Addiction to empire is a lot like addiction to cigarettes. Each new military campaign is one more nail in our coffin.

I would describe what we have as one party with 2 major wings. Regardless of which wing is dominant at any given moment, maintaining our empire is the number one priority. Funding militarism costs a lot.

Short of a revolution or an impeachment, it doesn't matter one bit whether Trump's approval rating goes to zero.

We woke to the aftermath of a blizzard. This morning, I started clearing the snow from our driveway. I took a break for lunch. I finished in time for dinner.

How can anybody be okay with this level of corruption? Treason is okay? Fuking children is okay? Murder is okay?

We're a nation of fools. We'll suffer the consequences. We've ruined the lives of so many people all over this planet. We've allowed our personal bickering to turn violent/deadly.

We see opulence daily, even if we're not rich and famous. We're materialists. We watch shows where people win thousands of dollars for being willing to humiliate themselves.

Possession is a higher priority that morality. Loyalty is to money.

We believe the lie. Everybody can't become rich.

Roman citizens were much better off than slaves, until they weren't - until corruption led to empire and empire tore the republic apart.

The FBI Director, everyone. You paid for it.

I have no idea what it means when people say we're a Christian country. I can state unequivocally that our leaders are not and never have followed the teachings of Jesus Christ.
If you think you're a Christian and you support this administration's policies you're either a fool or a hypocrite.

We've been lied to by politicians from both parties all our lives when it comes to our imperialistic pursuits and our growing militarism.
They've lied about almost everything.

We're being allowed to mock our abusers as we're marched to the gallows. Enjoy it while you can or stop marching. There are alternatives, but you must use them before the hangman releases the trap door.

Logic has nothing to do with reality. Everyone has their own personal logic. Our beliefs in our logics have led us to have expectations of others and how they will react.
Expectations will get you fuked every time.
So many of us "need" to believe we understand others. We barely understand ourselves.
